BANANA & DRAGON FRUIT SMOOTHIE

Start your week with a sweet, healthy, and very refreshing recipe.
This banana and dragon fruit smoothie is literally to die for.
The pitaya (also known as pitahaya or dragon fruit, I love this last name) is a fruit
that comes from the cactus family and contains a lot of nutrients (vitamin C, antioxidants, minerals, and fiber), in addition to being very low in calories and being absolutely delicious.
It is a fruit that grows in tropical climates, so you can find it in different places where this climate predominates. Unfortunately, it is highly-priced, but it is worth trying it and discovering its rich flavor.
To make today’s smoothie, I recommend that your fruits are ripe and cold to enhance their sweetness (I have put the peeled and cut bananas in the freezer for 30 minutes and I have done the same with the cup of milk).
Another option is to make the smoothie and put it in the freezer afterward for a
few minutes.

Servings 1
Total preparation time 40 minutes (including refrigeration)

INGREDIENTS

1 dragon fruit
1 banana
1 glass of vegetable milk or oatmeal (as preferred)
1 Tablespoon of cinnamon
Raspberries to garnish as desired

PREPARATION OF BANANA & DRAGON FRUIT SMOOTHIE

1.  Scoop out the pitaya meat with the help of a spoon and place it in the blender glass.
2.  Add the rest of the ingredients.
3. Blend until you get a thick mix. Add more milk if you’d like the consistency to be more liquid.
4. Serve it cold and decorate it with raspberries or any other diced fruit you like.
